Well Parthi, it`s quite true that brown parents influence in your ambition a lot. They do not give much respect to individuality. They want you to follow what they think is best for you. It`s deep in the culture of brown people. Well my question is this… What are you going to do about it!!

YEAH! You tell ‘em Parthi! Well, Ive spoken about this “doctor,doctor,doctor,engineer” thing with my dad. I guess my dad also followed his dream of owning a business, after biochemistry. Well, Ive decided, if being a doctor fails, then I’ll do something in music. At least I’ll have fun I guess. But Parthi, follow your heart some time, its never too late to change. Satya xXx

well… its kind of hard to say… since… parents always wants what’s best for their kids.
for your “white” encounter: she wants her son to be happy.
while your parents want to you to not walk in the wrong direction…
either way… they love you but I guess they just express it differently
